The Demon, The Lost, and More

July had quite a few releases, starting with more prints from the Wormsong Oracle Deck:

A many-armed, abstract, stone-like entity terrorizes a Seeker. In the background, a star is bound with sigils.
The Demon

Three star-like entities fall through the sky, trailing ribbon-like arms. In the background is the silhouette of a large star bound with sigils.
The Lost

Three angels descend upon a seeker with arms outstretched. The first looks like an abstracted clown face with four wings. The second looks like a thorny ring surrounded in eyes, and the third looks like a three-winged star.
The Angel

A massive, star-like entity bound with sigils floats high above the Realms — a world depicted as concentric spheres surrounded by wings.
The Exile

Beyond that, I released two new zines — HOLY! 28 and Marginalia 3! All patrons get digital versions of my zines, and Collector's tier patrons have been receiving physical copies of Marginalia. There's a handful spots left on Patreon if you want to get in on the series!

The Guide, The Serpent, and More

June was a surprisingly productive month, where I released a few more prints from the Wormsong Oracle Deck:

A jester-like Hierophant stands within an archway and slowly reaches for a cross-like sigil.
The Guide

A winged serpent winds through the composition, surrounding a meditating seeker.
The Serpent

A ribbon-like Kīrolisk guides a Seeker through the library. While conversing, the Librarian carrys a book and an offering bowl with a star above it.
The Librarian

A ghost-like Saint and a Seeker gather around an offering bowl. Incense smoke rises from the bowl in waves and fills the composition.
The Offering

I also released a new print for Make a Terrible Comic Day — participation was mandatory!

Three panels show a person waking up crying, rolling over to reach for an empty space, and then facing upward and letting their tears stain the pillow in a halo around their head. The tears fill the bottom half of the composition like an ocean overtaking the character. The panels are accompanied by the text 'Do you think the sea waits for tides to change too?'. There is a decorative border with a sword, heart, and a liquid falling towards a cup held upward.
Tides

Last but not least, I released the first two issues of Marginalia — my new zine series — in digital format! Collector's tier patrons have been receiving physical copies, and there's still a few spots on Patreon if you want to get in on the new series!

The Shepherd, The Reliquary, and More

May was a chaotic month, but I managed to release some more prints from the Wormsong Oracle Deck:

A shepherd tends to their cow, who is drawn in a style reminiscent of cave art and has a halo above their horns.
The Shepherd

A star-like Vessel hovers just above a half-buried column. In the background is a star bound with sigils.
The Reliquary

A massive, emaciated, human-faced bull is attended upon and worshipped by ghost-like saints.
The Auroch

Skulls and debris line the stairs leading toward an archway. A sphinx stretches, blocking passage through the threshold as she looks down upon a traveler.
The Guardian

A living archway greets a Seeker while making a gesture meaning 'as above, so below'. The Seeker bows, reaching for a skull within the threshold.
The Threshold

In other news, my friends over at Knave of Cups have begun stocking the Wormsong Oracle Deck, and they are shipping everywhere except for the EU! The stock ran out within a day, but new stock is on the way and it should be back in the store soon!

A lovely promotional shot from Knave of Cups. You can see the box and back of the cards with foil stamping, and three cards are laid out in a spread in the front — The Shepherd, the Teacher of Wings, and the Five of Eyes.

HOLY! 27, The Invocation, and More

April marked a return to full capacity, and it kept me quite busy! I started with a new issue of my quarterly zine, HOLY!

I also released several more prints with imagery from the Wormsong Oracle Deck:

A jester-like Hierophant and their entourage of Saints call down a Herald — an abstract entity with a face like a broken mirror, crowned with a moon and star, and followed by smaller shard-like being with wings.
The Invocation

Several ghost-like Saints gather within ruins and lift an offering bowl with skeletal arms towards a massive, heptagonal void in the sky — the Throne.
The Saints

A many-armed, winged, mushroom-like entity peers into an orb and sigil with several eyes.
The Unknown

Three people — one of them with three arms — gather beneath a twisting, leafless tree.
The Family

I'm hard at work on some longer projects that won't see release for some time, but you can always find some sneak peeks on my Patreon!

The Messenger and The Seer

CW: surgery

March started with a surprise surgery followed by a month of recovery time, so I wasn't able to make a lot of new work. That said, I did begin releasing individual cards from the Wormsong Oracle Deck as prints, so that'll be something nice to follow along with for most of this year! Here are the prints released this month:

A Seeker rides a human-faced horse while carrying a long, black banner. Two other Seekers follow behind on foot, conversing. The background is a field of red with some collaged sheet music throughout.
The Messenger

A Seeker communicates with a star-like entity in an asemic language beneath an archway made of organic, mushroom-like shapes.
The Seer

As a little bonus, here's a sketch from my weekly Patreon sketches. I've been enjoying starting sketch sessions with Kīrolisks, because they so easily build upon my practice of asemic drawing.

A ribbon-like entity uses multiple arms to construct a sigil.

Hymn 1 and wiarg

February was busy with a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff, but I managed to make a couple of worm-themed pieces (amusingly, I'm typing this during March's Worm Moon)! The first is the Dreamer from my ongoing project, Wormsong:

A massive, star-headed worm wraps around the Realms, haloed by a rainbow. The border is filled with lesser worms representing the vowels in Wormrōte, tree branches, and the symbol for Wormwood. A label adorns the panel in Wormrōte, reading 'All hail the Dreamer'.
Hymn 1

The second is the worm from Pseudonym Jones' webcomic, worm-in-a-rock god:

The titular god, a worm with their head inside of a rock, leaving a single eye visible. Behind them are a moon and star, and a halo crowns the head while tears stream from their eye. The halo has a Wormrōte inscription repeating 'creation, destruction', and more Wormrōte can be seen at the bottom that reads 'worm in a rock god'.

HOLY! 26, Goblin Week, and Shop Launch

January was a packed month, with a lot of stuff to share with y'all! First up is the new zine, HOLY! 26:

Cover of HOLY! 26

Next up are the three pieces I made for Goblin Week (the last full week of January, for those who celebrate):

Five multi-colored goblins dance around a bird-headed goddess. She holds a crown, coins, and scissors that cut a red thread which bound her. Above her is text in Wormrōte which reads 'The Goblin Queen'.
Eris 5

Seven green goblins recreate the Danse Macabre, with Death in the lead. Behind them are three skeletal goblins, and three others wearing the hats of a pope, a king, and a laborer. The first behind Death holds aloft a flag while the last plays a horn.
Dance 2

Seven red goblins fight one another with swords and scythes around a staircase and archway in ruins. Wormrōte on an archway reads 'The Three-in-One demands blood'.
Dance 3

Finally — after two years of work, I'm happy to say that the Wormsong Oracle Deck is complete and up for sale on my brand new shop (along with a few other fun things)!

A promotional shot of the Wormsong Oracle Deck, featuring the box and a spread of cards.

For now, the Helvetica Blanc Shop is shipping within the US only, since international shipping is currently a mess and really expensive. Hopefully I can find some solutions for international folks with time.

I told y'all it was a busy month!

Sigil 14

December brought one final traditional piece for the year — Sigil 14. Happy New Year, everyone!

A geometric, many-faced, many-legged entity struggles to climb a hill composed of sheet music collage. Gilded fire floats above them, and the scene is labeled in Wormrōte 'Again'.
